Clifton Hall Great House Wedding
Emma and Neil are the kind of couple you just want to be around. Genuine, kind and most of all, fun!
At the Crane Hotel, Emma was surrounded by her fantastic bridesmaids and from the get go, it was an atmosphere of laughs, love and pure nostalgia as I giggled with the, “do you remember?” stories. But the most touching moment of this part of the day, was when Emma came to me and said “so tell me what you think.”.. “Ok.?” I replied. Emma went on to tell me that just the night before, her grandmother gave her a beaded crown. But not just any beaded crown. It was the headpiece Emma’s grandmother wore on her wedding day some 50+ years ago. My response?” Ummm, Hell YES!”
And so she did.
To see the look on her grandmother’s face when Emma walked down the aisle was beyond priceless.
After the ceremony, Emma and Neil took off from St. James Parish Church in the cutest little mini moke and headed for their reception at Clifton Hall Great House.
We started off taking bridal portraits, but not one person taking part, myself included, could keep a straight face. We laughed the whole way through. Between stolen kisses, taking swigs of rum, and some serious thigh showing, we made some awesome images.
And then the party started. Big time. There was not a single statue in the crowd. Isn’t this how your wedding should be?
Thank you so much Emma and Neil for trusting us to document this epic day..
